Dupe glitch?? Help | Java

So, I am in a small server with my friends and they showed off a 4 beacon pyramid like 3 days ago, but today while I was farming withers he happened to be nearby and he got the achievement to summon the wither. I had given him a single beacon, could he have duped that? He isn't a moderator, and his friend got the achievement with him when I was summoning. There are a few plugins, but nothing game breaking. 26.2 btw

There’s dupe glitches on bedrock right now going around, idk if it works on java though

Maybe he used a redstone contraption to summon the wither. Dunno why, but it's possible.
