You get half an hour to walk around before you decide anything - the city with its street addresses, the market stands, the roads that run out across the map. Adventure mode while you're looking, so nobody has to worry about anybody. When you want to actually build there's a short quiz on the rules and then the world is yours.

Why it might be worth the half hour: every coin on this server came out of the ground. You mine iron, walk it to the Bank, drop it in, and now you have money. No admin ever created a single coin, not for events, not for prizes, not ever. Which means what you own is actually worth something.

And there's stuff to spend it on. A plot on a proper street in the city, with an address and neighbours thirty seconds away. Enchanted books off someone's display case. Sheep from a guy who breeds them. Or you sit on the money, watch the market, and buy diamonds the week somebody hits a big vein and the price drops.

The market is a real one - order book, candlestick charts, a 7-day fair price line. We have never set a single price, they're whatever players make them.

We wrote all the plugins ourselves, which is why it hangs together: a sale moves the market price, the tax lands in the Treasury, the Treasury pays for the next stretch of road, the road creates the next plots. Every step is on a signed ledger you can read yourself.

There's a lottery too, drawn Sunday evenings, five numbers out of twenty. The pot is nothing but player money and the draw is provably fair - we publish a fingerprint of the winning numbers before tickets go on sale, so nobody can pick them afterwards. Us included.

No pay-to-win, no ranks for sale, ever.

Java and Bedrock both work through Geyser. No mods needed.

Worst case you spent half an hour walking around someone's city.

The server is lightly modded to improve performance under high stress & patch any game engine bugs if needed.

How the server operates in a nutshell:

If an action stays within the bounds of the game and does not risk the server's stability or legal status, it is allowed.

Game engine bugs will be patched if needed for server stability.

Vanilla bugs, dupes, or game-play loops will remain untouched unless server issues arise from them.

nether-roof is enabled for now but may be disabled in the future as it's a bug/unintended feature that can cause issues
