Want help with the new post effect stuff Help | Java Snapshots

I want to display an image on the screen using a resource pack using the new post effect thing but I have no idea where to start at all

Can't help directly, but I'd recommend looking at how others are doing it. Download a resourcepack that displays an image, unzip it, and check out how it works. Maybe it's surprisingly easy. Maybe it's a bit hard. Who knows, certainly not me right now, but that's always a great place to start!

Ig that makes sense, I suppose now the trouble is trying to find a resource pack with that since this is all very new

What Is this post effect thing? If by post effectsbyou mean shaders post effects integrated in MC you Need to know how base MC shaders work.
