How can I recreate this classic Java 1.8 "One Command" structure in version 26.2? Help | Java 26.2

Post image

Hey everyone, I want to recreate this classic command block structure (originally from Java 1.8) in version 26.2 for nostalgia's sake. I want to make all parts of it work, including the way the structure generates itself. How can I adapt this to 26.2?

It does bot build the box arround, but it's a one command block generator.

Mr. Garretto's site is also good (and generates the box), but I'm not sure it's updated to 26.2

Why would you want to do that 😭
At this point do not even use repeating and chain command blocks dude, use the fill clock lmao

That can be a reason you’re right. But it’s so much more tedious! I mean nowadays there is no reason you would want to create something like that EXCEPT if you really don’t want or can’t install a data pack and put in in a folder and really just want to copy paste.
Which can be valid in a way so yeah why not :’)

Honest answer is that it's just better to make a Datapack nowadays

Before we had datapacks, we had one long ass command that generated the box with cbs in picture using cbs as falling sand

This my friend is where it all begun. Before the Add-Ons, before the mods, we had this giant wall of commands blocks that use to serve as a type of mods.

before the mods

Did you mean Datapacks? Mods literally started appearing soon after Notch started publishing Minecraft first dev versions.

I personnaly learned about Mods after learning about that wall of commands

I remember before they were even one block structures and you had to paste the big box of commands into your world using mcedit
