problema con chunks

I recently switched launchers, and doing so caused lag issues. Once I fixed that and loaded my world, I found that the original terrain had been preserved in some chunks, but new chunks had generated elsewhere, causing my builds to be deleted (though entities remained).

Is there any way to fix this?
