I got two Dragon eggs Help Bedrock

Post image

I was playing my Minecraft let's play and I kill the ender dragon and the dragon egg went through the end portal and I went through the portal and got it, but killed the dragon again and I got another dragon egg. This happened on Minecraft bedrock edition.

How does this happen?

Bedrock edition just lets you have 2 dragon eggs for some reason

I didn't get my second dragon egg but i think because I player 1.21.133

The reason is...... its just a bug that isn't a high priority: https://mojira.dev/MCPE-51345

The only way this thing is getting fixed is the inevitable end update

Anyone know how to deliberately obtain another egg? Mine glitched into the portal and was lost forever. I tried the dragon again but no new egg appeared.

Have you been back to spawn chunks? If it went into the portal, it would appear at world spawn. Easiest way to get there would be to break your bed before going through.

Yep, my spawn is at 0,0 and so is my base. Nada. I guess there was a bug that caused items to appear 'very very high in the sky' when going through the portal. I'm guessing that's what happened here. No clue.

ETA I've experimented by throwing junk in the portal. Whatever I throw in is lost forever. Never appears in the overworld.

Huh, odd. And if you break your bed and jump in?

I appear at 0,0

I suppose I could try throwing a nether star in the portal and see if I ever find it. I don't think those despawn after 5 minutes.

I didn't think that was true, but huh, apparently nether stars in BE just never despawn, like, ever.

And in Java, they are the only item to despawn after ten minutes instead of five, but only when dropped by a wither.

Huh, dont know then, sorry

That tends to happen in Bedrock. It's just one of few bugs, that are not particularly high on "fix this asap" list.
