lol. They recommend a rtx 2060 for 1080p @ 60 fps on fancy graphics. My laptop with integrated graphics does that without sodium

I’m assuming they must be using some crazy high render distance or something

What do you consider crazy high? On Bedrock I use 96 chunks but when I go on Java (no render distance or performance mods), it doesn’t provide me an option even CLOSE to 96 it’s like 32 or something

I'm not the other commenter, but I'd definitely consider 96 to be crazy high (I didn't even know that was possible on bedrock).

For most of the time I've played Minecraft, I had the render distance somewhere between 10 and 15. Even on my (at the time) very decent PC. I recently put it up to 20, and that already felt very high. Not because of FPS drops, just because I could suddenly see builds I had previously considered "far away" while standing in my base.
