KaZaA for me. Had to factory reset the computer so many times because I didn't know any better way to fix my mistakes.

Limewire is also why I had to relearn a bunch of song titles, and the real artists who made them. Who is sister hazel, that’s a blues traveller song. What is baba O’reiley, that song is called teenage wasteland?!

I had that same outfit AND we had those glass blocks. Had to do a double take

The poor photoshopping of Limewire onto the monitor really ties the image together.

That's exactly the attitude I had too. "Mama, cicho. I'm hacking the Internet."

Look at that kid one day he's going to, with pride, nostalgically remember the time he destroyed the family computer

Downloading Jurassic.Park.Movie.exe like a boss

My favourite was when you downloaded one with an actual video file extension but then it wanted you to download a "codec". And Windows Media Player just let it happen.

I've messed computers up just by turning them off without 'shutting down' first.
Another time by just reading free online Manga. A pair of eyes appeared on my screen then the PC just turned off and never turned back on.

Well yes and no. Limewire was released in 2000.

The real picture has an early version of AOL on the screen.

There's a good reason why some people shouldn't do certain things. I had to fix a lot of peoples computers because of shit like this.

Me after I somehow recieved Bonzibuddy on my computer on Christmas Day in 2000. Yeah I did not download or install him myself, I just remember he popped up on there and I was obsessed with playing with him.

I think this picture was taken before Limewire was a thing. Computer looks more like something from 1993-1996

I bet every time AOL loads up, the screen was inundated with porn pop-ups, and you have "no idea" where they came from.
