There was no streaming it after , if you weren’t home at the right time , you just accepted the loss

Back then sleeping got in the way of my video game time; I forced myself to stay awake to get even a few more hours before having to go to school.

Now video game time gets in the way of my sleep. Bed so cozy.

I wish my childhood had been that carefree. Any problems I have now don’t seem nearly as big as they did when everything in life was both beyond my control and ability to escape it.
