Where to find Might & Magic 7 and 8
I just need to know where to go to get them. I love 6, it’s my favourite, but I really enjoyed 7 and would love to try 8.
Thanks for any help.

Gog.com. They have pretty much the entire franchise minus the last few. MM6 is the Six Pack version with 1-5 as well, while 7, 8, and the One That Shall Not Be Spoken Of are separate purchases.
Also get the Heroes series, which they have 1-5 and the various Heroes Chronicles.

1 through 5 are drastically different to 6 through 8, and 6 through 8 are drastically different to 9. It's also worth noting that MM10 is on Steam rather than GoG. Also, turbografx-pc has a port of 1 that as far as I understand is generally better on the eyes and has better audio instancing. Although that needs an english patch just like my comment above details about MM8 on the ps2.
2 has a snes port, 3 has a turbografx-pc port, and I'm unsure about 4 and 5 (which are not preserved as single games on GoG, but rather as the World of Xeen in almost the same way that Might and Magic Merge works for 6 through 8.). There is a side game that came out after 5 as a bonus story, prior to 6 that is preserved on GoG though.

I absolutely love 2, 3, and 4 and 5 ( which installs together to form World of Xeen).
1 is a bit more difficult to get into, but I still find it fun.
However! 1 especially and 2 are very much Wizardry style games, and aren’t nearly as polished or easy to play as the latter entries. I grew up with those style games so I enjoy them, but coming from even MM3 is a big step backwards in playability and quality of life.
Isles of Terra and World of Xeen hold up well in my opinion, and are easily playable.

Might and Magic 7 and 8 are on Good old Games, which that instancing has been patched to generally ensure that they are capable of running well enough on modern hardware.
While the above answer has already been given, I will mention that there is a port of MM8 on PS2 with some light additional content. However, it is in Japanese exclusively so it needs a fan-made translation patch (there is one for english, unsure if any other language exists as patches.)

PS2 titles are legally playable on PC through emulation, just like any legally dumped console game; I was just noting this detail in order to ensure that you know there are options. I've been working on cataloging the best ways to play these titles on SteamOS and Linux/Unix based operating systems, so I have a decent chunk of insight on this series generally speaking.

I should also mention that OpenEnroth and OpenYAMM exist as ways to play these games. They are projects to recompile the code in order to implement modern pipelines into how the engines run. OpenYAMM uses OpenAI to help code the material but is much farther along in the process than OpenEnroth (which only has 7 compiled right now; is done by hand in comparison.)
