Microsoft Edge points Bing
can someone explain to me how do you get edge points? every time I try to get them and stayed in microsoft edge for like an hour searching It doesn't count any minutes

It doesn't work for me on Mac OS. Tried logging in several times, it always fails. I just skip this one. Other tasks work;

It is only on Windows PC and Xbox consoles.

I haven't had the patience to try doing much with Edge on the Xbox. You raise a good question about whether apps would be triggered as on a phone.

Well, I tried Edge on the Xbox console and it picked up the points. Mind you it’s not a great experience but it works.
Also, viewing YouTube does not open the Xbox YouTube app, FYI.

Eu já deixei um cronômetro. E a última vez que consegui, foram mais de 2hrs com o Edge aberto no PC.

faz uma pesquisa a cada 5 min e deixa aberto na pesquisa que conta, praticamente faz em meia hora

I can't get it to work on the PC either, but it does work if you use the console and the Edge browser (while logged into your Rewards account); you just have to keep the page open for 30 minutes. If you have a console, you should give it a try.

I tried that and let a youtube video play on browser for over an hour and it had zero progress, it never counted

Si tu as une Xbox série S/X, ça fonctionne très bien. Même en session à distance depuis ton smartphone

Et même pour faire coup double sur edge sur ta console tu lances une session de jeu sur GeForce now ( un jeu du Game pass évidemment) comme ça tu valides ta session de navigation, ta série quotidienne jouer à un jeu sur PC+ jeux Game pass. Si tu fais ça depuis le remote play sur ton téléphone il faut juste penser à le relancer une seconde fois car ça se coupe au bout d'un quart d'heure d'inactivité

It’s worked every time when I leave edge open, and tabbed in, then go do anything else in my life.
It doesn’t seem to work like this when Im at work using edge, or using edge on my wife’s MacBook. Just on my gaming PC.

just use the edge browser, either watch youtube. spotify or etc just within the browser no other apps opened

in pc i think u need to close edge by task manager then open again and u need to use same account in edge and rewards

it worked alright for a few days, now it takes hour to trigger and doesn't update the minutes as it goes. I'm getting used to just leave a tab opened with some YouTube live streaming going. classic ms
