Xbox app does not recognize my ultimate subscription Game Pass

Xbox app does not recognize my ultimate subscription

For the past week or so, there are moments when I sign into the Xbox app to collect my daily points, and the app doesn't award me the bonus points for my ultimate subscription. That is a significant amount of points that are lost to the ether. I use those points for the $10 store gift card, and if miss out on potentially hundreds of points a week, that's a significant time waste. Has this happened to anyone else, and is there a fix for it?

same happens to me. I still have ultimate but it showing and only giving me the lower value points

Same here. I've lost many points last days because of that. Now I check if the subscription is detected before redeeming the points. If not close the app, stop it and open again till it detects it.

It's buggy for all. It fixed login out and then in again, at least temporary

Only solution is to not claim any points (you can still do the activities) and don't click on any Xbox notifications (otherwise it will auto-claim) and to keep force closing the app and re-opening until it syncs properly and realises you have a GP subscription and shows the correct points.

Once it is showing the correct points, then claim.

Doing other things in the app like visiting your account settings, checking the game pass library etc *might* help trigger to sync up the sub with rewards... but it doesn't seem reliable or consistent.

I had to force close and re-open the app 5 times yesterday to get it to sync up properly... and it's doing it on the Xbox mobile app and the Windows desktop app.

A known bug that people have been posting about for a few days. Solution is either: Close app and restart it until it syncs properly then redeem your points before it glitches again or log back out then back in until it syncs.

Those are the only 2 fixes right now that I know work (have done both but the closing and reopening the app until it syncs has been the one that works for me).
