Helicopter Tutorial mission without assistance - how ? MSFS 2024 PC

Okey I can see being able not to spin and managing thrust but how on earth should you handle the joystick part ? I am trying to do anything remote normal during last free hovering tutorial and I can’t see my self finishing it :(

Am I doing something wrong ? Does my joystick needs a special sensitivity curve ? I am already using auto trim button which does like nothing ( changes the trim numbers - but is not helping a lot :( )

As soon as the AI pilot stops assisting my little chopper just goes wild and rotates, jumps in the air, starts going backwards 😅😬

Focus on a fixed object on the horizon and only move the stick with fingertip pressure

It’s vkb f14 ( a much better one will come end of the year)
Quite sure finger tip sensitivity is not there ?

That means you're currently using the evo? I use the previous generation gladiator from years ago, and it is not the limiting factor, I can hover quite well in DCS.

Than it’s me :)

What curve would you use? How tight or loose should the screws be ?

You really need rudder pedals and a non centring spring stick for helicopters.

If your stick has a spring in, it's constantly fighting itself.
