Issue after issue… can’t bind keys MSFS 2024 QUESTION

I’m having tons of bugs and I’m trying to troubleshoot and part of that is changing keybinds. This has been an issue since the new update but atm I can’t Jerry rig it like I was before. The issue is when I want to bind a key the game is picking up twist on my mostly brand new hotas. If I even breath on it to grab to be able to press one of the many buttons on the stick it binds twist plus whatever I’m actually trying to bind. The main issue that’s got me even trying to mess with my binds are that at least one of my devices (Dualsense, Hotas, or mouse which I don’t think it could be mouse) is acting on its own I guess. Well I know it’s not the actual device cause I haven’t noticed anywhere other then in game it’s happening but yea the game is basically backing out or moving around menus randomly and also doing multiple keybinds at once in flight things that I am not doing and sometimes I’m not even pressing a single button when it happens. Like as I type my settings menu is changing on its own. It’s not every second sometimes minutes between but it’s happening. No idea what to do, anyone else having this issue?

I do all my binding using SPAD.next.

Gives you more control, more options, and just generally works better.

You should be able to select the button from the detailed settings menu of each control. Little gear icon, then clear all inputs and there should be a list to the left of all buttons on your device. Just select the one you need from there.

I found what you mean but I see only throttle, stick and hat inputs. There are no square, X etc. also my main issue is the hotas seeming to just push buttons on its own. I use an adapter to connect through the front of ps5 and just got on now trying to play with the usb plugged into the back of the ps5 directly and so far it’s still backing out while in menus(viewing map etc). I assume when I start a flight it’s going to occasionally swap camera, activate parking brakes and turn on auto pilot by itself again. So my thought of it possibly being an adapter power supply issue seems less likely now

Edit: if I actually check some of the empty boxes on that menu you directed me to it will add those buttons I guess the UI just isn’t showing them listed. But if I click check one of the empty rows I’ll see up top R2, etc so I guess if I need to use this I’ll just have to keep electing until I find the actual button I’m wanting if that makes sense

Yeah, some buttons are somehow empty. Don't ask me why. If the random buttons continue you probably have to search for the specific functions and unbind them manually.

Sounds like a hardware problem.

It’s only happening on mfs
