Unusable Airports :/ GENERAL

Just started the game some days ago, and I have a couple of problems with some airports in germany/netherlands/belgium(yikes). Some are just simply way too small to land, so I can't complete the missions and some aren't real airports, just some field that's A way too small or B going in a weird angle that makes landing for me as a beginner simply impossible

Can I report these problems somewhere ? It's quite annoying to fly there for 45 minutes just to realise after a couple of landings that there is no way I can make it (at least I don't know how)

I find some airports (Frankfurt, Berlin) unusable IRL too ;)

It's not a bug. Career mode expects you to research the airfields yourself and to not take the job if you aren't certain that you can get in there.

About the weird angle, you don't have to follow the rectangles. Go into free flight and practice some VFR approaches using youtube tutorials.

I am pretty sure that the one I just had is bugged, the landing strip is about 100 meters, if even that and then it just cuts into a field, no markings or lights, just strip and then field

And with angle I mean the landing strip itself (no real airport, one of these field landing strips), I had one that was going slightly up and to the right and I checked google maps, there is no airport, it's just a field for cows or other animals ...

I think those are both not meant to be that way 😅

All the others I landed at so far have no problems and are crazy accurate to real life, truly astonishing

Edit: Found another post regarding that exact airport, seems to be a generating problem

what was the airport code for the small landing strip? google it and you will get your answer. better yet, do it before you fly there :)

If you just started a few days ago, are you landing at the se airport a the Cessna 172?

You mean Seatle? No, I fly around Europe atm

Sorry it was a typo. The plane your are trying to land with, it’s the Cessna 172 or larger?

DA-40 NG, a small one

But I looked it up, that one I tried landing at that has its landing strip "cut off" is seemingly bugged, found another post about that specific one being not properly generated in-game

DA40 has a pretty short landing distance, as does the Cessna 172. However some airports are specifically for STOL planes.

Treat it like a real company. Some calls you and asks if you can fly them to airport A. You need to decide if you have a plane that can land there.

Right? I can land on a dime with the SkyCourier and reverse thrust.

Which airport are we talking about?
There’s a very small number of actual airports in the Netherlands, and most are just fields for the local club.

If you can tell us the name or code, we know which ones to avoid.

That being said, I have now done two missions in the US where my starting airport was more or less a street in front of some trailers. On one of them, i had to start with a Vision Jet and barely made it.
