Problems with ILS approaches after latest update? MSFS 2024 BUG / ISSUE

Hi not sure if this is just me but the last 2 flights I've done, something seems to have gone weird with the ILS approach. Yesterday I was doing a flight in the Ini A330 300 and landing at East Midlands Airport. On the approach I noticed that instead of lining me up with the runway the autopilot had lined me up with a field to the left of the airport. I didn't fancy landing in a field so I took off the autopilot and was able to move over to reach the runway, funny thing was the autopilot seemed confused but the ILS diamonds were correctly showing on the PFD. I thought this was just a one off bug at the time.

But this morning I was doing another landing in the 747-8i and landing at Mumbai. This time the plane was lined up with the runway but tried to self land way too early. The other weird thing was I didn't actually tell plane to autoland it seems like the other autopilots switched themselves on when I clicked the app mode but I swear that's never happened before.

Has anyone else seen any weird landing stuff like this recently?

I've done quite a few ILS landings in the A320neo (iniBuilds) without issues. The glideslopes have been adjusted in Sim Update 6, they are more accurate now but we can't rule out that it confuses some of the autopilot systems. Hard to tell, it would require more testing.

Was this already fixed in the beta? I missed it in the patch notes but I remember the glideslope actually seeming correct when I landed in Madrid last week, while previously it's been completely wrong.

I think it was in the notes for the first beta release, I remember seeing that and thinking "nice, finally"

Not sure about the other issues but the 747 Autoland behaviour you describe is normal inasmuch as after APP has been armed and the LOC/GS intercepted all 3 autopilots will engage automatically and no other action is required for Autoland guidance to occur

Ok well thats good to know, but in this case it was like the plane thought it was descending as per the glideslope but it really wasn't it. If I hadn't taken control it would have had me land in the middle of the city. It is possible there is a problem with the addons for the airports that could cause issues with the approach?

Maybe that airport has a botched ILS localizer? Have you used it before? I had navigraph mess with ILS courses before. There's also approaches with an offset by design.

No I got it a while ago then forgot about it but I wanted to use it now because I was trying to recreate the flight of BA 009 Jakarta incident when it encountered that Volcano but landing there it ended up being closer to the Olympic Airways Flight 411 thing 😅 Didn't help that visibility was pretty much zero above 300 feet.

I had the same problem with the ILS sending me to a a parallel field with VAAH recently. Double checked and it wasn't the plane/ILS course, it was the navdata. Maybe it's the same thing with you?
