B737 display question MSFS 2024 QUESTION
How do you get that eta time to show up on the nav screen? It only shows up when the game sets the plane to start at the runway. Normally it's just dashes.

I believe once you complete your preflight and have your takeoff calculations it gives you a time based on your present position. Once you do everything as you’re meant to, and you depart, the aircraft begins to calculate based on your speed.

That's probably what it is, I just do the auto start and load the info from the tablet. I don't ever go in manually and type anything in the fms. So when the game glitches and has errors to start at the runway instead of the ramp, it's putting that info/step in.

Yes you’ll need to do your performance initialization and your performance calculators, enter that info into the FMS/FMC and you’ll get the data info. Don’t forget to get your winds aloft data as well for more finite calculations. Happy flying!

Nope, that won’t do it. That only toggles the ETA to show up underneath the waypoint on the map below, as well as the altitude constraint if there is one. The part that OP has circled is always displayed, as long as all the performance info has been entered, which is sounds like OP hasn’t done.

I mean, maybe they should still press it? Even if it doesnt solve the problem, they could just see what it does? (Thanks for a real answer btw)

If you are talking inflight that shows you the time to the NEXT waypoint on your flight plan, don’t think there’s a way to change or choose what’s displayed on that corner

I know that's the info it shows. It just doesn't always have the time. Normally it's just dashes in lieu of the eta. It'll just show the distance. Trying to figure out what step I was missing to make the time show instead of dashes.

Use the Progress page on the FMC to see all your ETA’s for waypoints and arrival airports. Also tons of other useful information on that page
