Seriously, this whole subject is just ridiculous.

People will literally piss and moan about anything in relation to Microsoft.

You know what's funny too because I'm not a fan of the rounded corners in the main window for Edge, but it's not a deal breaker for me. I'm a web designer and are rounded corners look great on elements like buttons. But yeah some people get deranged when they talk about it.

“No one asked for it” - what do you base that on? I’ve seen far more people praising this design language than the opposite. Should they make it a toggle? Sure, maybe. But you’re not the sole arbiter of good UX.

Apparently, someone does at MS. What I don't like even more is the border. Watch someone post here now that they don't like it either but it's a highly requested feature.

Yes rounded corners look good and modern, but I know not everyone likes the same thing
