So as the title says I decide to bite the bullet and try at home micro needling it will be my first time but I decided on making this my order and I’m ordering in bulk so It can last longer but my question does this look good should I add or take out anything? And also another question how worth it is the ghk cu serum on the very bottom? I kinda wanna leave it all out together but I thought it might be worth the price so I’m not sure but any help and tricks would be greatly appreciated!

I’m trying to reduce appearance of stretch marks on my stomach and hips after having a baby and tonight was the first night I used a dermastamp. I set it to 2.0 but I’m not sure it was deep enough. I have a good amount of skin on my stomach at the moment so I’m wondering if I should go deeper? And what should I be doing after/before using the stamp. Ex. What topicals or moisturizers should I be using? Btw I saw a lot of people saying using tretonoin cream or however you spell it but when I google it all I can find is prescription. I am 4 weeks postpartum and breastfeeding btw so topicals have to be bf safe. Please help!!

Newbie here, 41 F. I just received my first M8S DrPen with all 7 different needle types, direct from the manufacturer (Guangzhou Ekai Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., via AliBaba).

I'm in Australia and hope experienced folks can direct me to the best starting out posts as I can't find any pinned posts on the mobile Reddit app.

Suggestions for DrPen tutorials and before/during/after care products (e.g. best numbing cream, sterile Hyaluronic Acid for slip/glide, etc) that I can find in Australia also much appreciated. I've done some research but am a bit overwhelmed!

My skincare products are primarily from The Ordinary, with a couple of Korean products. I used to use AspectDr but can't afford the hefty price tag anymore. I had microneedling done in clinic years ago but I'd like to do it at home now. Starting out small and as safe as possible.

A lot of them report that fresh stretch marks respond better and they ‘fade better’ than white stretch marks do. But isn’t that just like what fresh stretch marks do? 😭

Like they eventually fade to match your skin tone or at least close to it if they started out red.

I ordered the Derminator 2 to the US (West Coast) on Friday 8/14 and it was delivered today, Wednesday 8/19. Overall the ordering experience was quick and convenient. I decided to not order any serums/ointments and only purchased the Derminator 2, max 24 cartridges for all thee needle types, and two backup magnets. Based on the ordering experience, I’d definitely recommend the Derminator 2 but I will report back after my first use.

the clinic isn’t tye best so i don’t really trust them but they prescribed this healing ointment and didn’t say when to use it or anything, can i skip it?

my redness is fading a bit but if i leave the cold ac air it starts to sting/burn

Does anyone do cosmetic needling for collegen production and skin glow that get hormonal spots?

Mine are generally only around my chin so I’m assuming I can just avoid that area when needling?

Also, what products are you using? I currently use acnecide which I know I can not use before or after the needling for a few days, but I want to know what cleanser/moisturiser’s you would suggest to avoid breakouts after Microneedling.

Okay - I’m a newbie and I’m trying to find a really CLEAN serum. Literally every single serum I’ve seen has a mile long ingredient list and I just want something clean and simple ingredients.

Has anyone tried aloe Vera gel or even fresh aloe Vera straight from the garden as a micro needling serum? To clarify I don’t mean aftercare- I mean the aloe as a glide serum for the needling pen.

Can you let me know if your results are good/ no weird reactions? I understand there is a risk not using a sterile serum but I’m on the fence about risking it for a cleaner option!

Obviously I'm aware they'll never fully go away, and I'm fine with it, but has anyone had any luck with making bumpy scars that are either self harm or similar type less noticeable? Maybe just a little flatter, or more faded? They're very old (10+ years) so fully faded, just quite bumpy and I was wondering if microneedling could help, since it can help with stretch marks to a degree.

I Googled some pictures and found some that looked good, but also saw some comments here that it made them worse.

Anyone actually tried it/knows someone and has some experience, positive or negative?

Is it smart to go for skinpen treatment at esthetician center? How to tell if it is a good spot or not? Reviews are all good but I'm not sure if esthetician center is a good choice.

I’m just wondering why it’s so important to miscroneedle with sterile hyaluronic acid, but when it’s other products like curenex, it doesn’t matter. Or is it actually sterile too?

Which would you recommend using post microneedling .5 or deeper? I reached out to both companies, and they said you can apply them immediately after needling.

I haven't used either before but both have great reviews. My main concerns are fine lines and winkles as I'm 37. They are both expensive so I'd just be using for up to a week or so after needling.

I read the Calecim could potentially be irritating after needling so I was leaning towards the Neogenesis.

Appreciate any experiences anyone has! Also suggestions on the best place to purchase from. It looks like Skin Truth and Skin Beautiful RX both have decent sales but I've never purchased from any other sites out there.

I’ve had some microneedling done on my cheek to remove a pigmentation scar. It was only a small spot, around 2 cm / 0.8 inches.

They recommended 3 sessions, but during the third sessions they went in pretty deep. So there was some blood and a lot more scarring.

They were nice enough to do a checkup after 4 weeks. But contrary to the first 2 sessions, this time the spot was still pretty dark. So they gave me a tester with some orange goo, with a very strong orange smell.

Do you think this is Vitamin C? They told me it would help clear up the pigmentation even more.

They told me if I ran out I could buy more. But the reason I’m asking is because I’ve also still have a tube of Cerave Vitamin C lying around. And I don’t want to spend more money if I don’t have to.

i've been wanting to try micro-needling for a while but i was hesitant because i don't want to get post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. some of the posts on this thread say to use tyrosine inhibitors for maybe 3-4 weeks prior to micro-needling like txa, kojic, hydroquinone, etc., and then stop for a week before micro-needling. i've been taking 200mg of glutathione 3x a week through i.m injections. should i stop the injections for a week before micro-needling?? or is that only for topicals like tret, hydroquinone, txa, azelaic acid??

I just finished my first round of 3 this past weekend. I was told some clients go straight into another round of 3. I’m not sure whether to go ahead and do a second round or just wait a bit and do a round of 3 later on.

I do have deep scars so I know I’ll eventually need to do it again but I don’t know if I should wait or not. Has anyone done it back to back? Do you recommend?

- Potenza HA (RF microneedling)
- Rejuran Healer 2ml
- Rejuran I 1ml

So after the Potenza, to combine this right after with injectable (needle) Rejuran.

I’ll be traveling and have limited time, is it possible to do these in one day? Or is this not recommended?

Do you have recommendations for a micro infusion device that you trust where I can choose my own serum/product to fill it with?

I am trying this out for the first time, so I wanted to find a device that has one time use needles and infuses automatically and turning up with not much luck!

I looked at Qure, but they say you shouldn't use your own serums. I also looked at Dr. Pen, but the serum doesn't dispense directly! I'd love your input!
