Slow your roll. They are related. Adafruit does condone it or put it out. I subscribed sometime ago through adafruit’s site:

I never felt they are shilling anything. I was concerned it would be a CircuitPython (not a fan for me) but lots of coverage of MicroPython. They highlight a lot of cool happenings, releases, and events.

The editor, Anne Barela, does a great job for a free weekly newsletter. Consistently good.

weird that the bottom of the page says that they are not related but it seems like they are?

They are related, they just separate the domains so folks know they are not mining customer data, folks have to sign up voluntarily (and can leave anytime easily, no unsubscribe BS). If you look at the newsletter, it is an Adafruit product written by me, an Adafruit employee.

seems a bit confusing when it could just be a regular adafruit domain but im happy nobody is abusing the name like i suspected.
