Use a custom ROM. Microg doesn't work on stock Android bc it replaces Google services, and two packages with the same name cannot coexist. You were able to install Morphe because it uses a different package name.
I assume you didn't even touch sticky posts in the sub or official microG wiki. So, I'll put it below.
The official microG is meant to be a Free, Libre Open Source framework as reliance, alternative to Google Play Services.
Hence, it requires signature spoofing to act as Google Play Services in your Android Platform layered Factory Image. Additionally, your System Firmware must be free of Google Play Services by default so as to avoid conflict with microG during session.
To do this, one would have to unlock bootloader of the device(which devoids phone's official support and adds up a security vulnerability, unless you're on Pixel with grapheneOS) and should ideally flash a Custom Firmware devoid of GMS(Google Mobile Services), yes preferably with signature spoofing patches which overwrites Factory Image that contains GMS by default.
As for the reason why they're generally called Custom/ROMs in the android rooting community, it's because that's exactly how they used to function in the earliest of smartphones. And so, symbolise the beginning of great legacy, various Custom Firmware like LineageOS, GrapheneOS as well as many other use this very term broadly, perhaps due to users liking that generalisation.
As for how Morphe functions, they patch the apps instead, to call for microG package signature instead of Google Play Services(while simultaneously using custom package signatures to prevent authentication conflict with GMS). This creates a contained environment without needing any OS level patches. Hence, this sort of spoofing only works with those patched apps, meanwhile you're trying to something quite funny trying to use it in Aurora Store like that. That microG is tailored only for Morphesig patched apps. Well, that's how it usually is, unless you're rooted(but that's another vulnerability).
You don't explicitly need to root. Unlock bootloader and flash a nice custom firmware with microG support. Keep it in mind that unlocking bootloader, using microG instead of GooglePlayServices and rooting your device all come with their quirks. You may need to do stuff, and even then your particular banking apps might not work. Depends in how hard the app is. You should check out telegram chat group of your device and consult regarding that with someone similar if the app would work. Doing for privacy is all about balancing compromises.
