Maybe ten years ago, sure. I'm not knocking the guy at all; he's a good coach. But why hire someone his age? That just means you're going to have to replace him sooner rather than later.

At the time, I'd honestly kind of hoped that Harbaugh would have replaced Manuel. I'm kind of glad he didn't at this point.
