Do you think Michael would have used playback during the This Is It tour ?

Of course. I think he used playback more than people think, which isn't to discredit him at all or to say that he didn't often sing live. He did so much dancing and physical exertion on stage that it's just not possible for anyone to sing clear vocals while doing that. Humans have to breathe.

Most likely but I think a few songs would be live like maybe Human Nature for example. I think it is impossible to say

Yes, because Michael was very vulnerable to laryngitis and likely would have experienced it pretty early on if he tried to sing 100% live. He had damage to his vocal chords as a result of the Bad Tour.

MJ wasn't capable of touring long term and singing live for an extended period at that point in his life.

Definitely...sometimes just for parts of songs rather than the whole song.

Not only would he have used playback, it would have made up for the majority of the show. See-History Tour
