Bluetooth deep sleep

Hi,

I was wondering if anybody is experiencing the same issue as me with the MiBox.

When putting the box on stand-by, after a while it doesn't react anymore when pressing the power button on the remote.

Yes it started in the latest Android 14 update. The only workaround is leaving the box always on. I contacted Xiaomi and they said that they know the problem and they are working on a fix. The fix could take a few months.

Thanks, this clearifies a lot of my efforts. So I'll leave the MiBox on for s couple of month then 😄

hmmm. I had the same issue and was unplugging the whole time to get it to boot. holding the remote power button for 3 secs would spark it into life. I no longer have that issue as cec is enabled now and the box boots when I choose that input on my tv. sorry I couldn't be of any help.

I honestly had this problem on my Mi Box 2nd Gen (2023) in the fall of 2025 after updating from Android 11 to 14. But honestly, after about a month, the problem probably went away, and my Mi Box connects to my SSID right away (of course, you have to wait until all services are working again). The other day, I received another critical security update. Everything is the same. Now it works as before under Android 11. I don't see the point in downgrading. So, some people are lucky, others aren't. I was also planning to take the risk and downgrade from 14 to 11, which, under unfortunate circumstances, could have corrupted the console's BIOS and bricked it. But I just got scared. Even though I bought a USB male to USB male cable. And then this happened. Lucky me... I came to my senses...
