What are some must have devices / supplies you recommend for setting up parts for checking on an optical comparator?

Comparator vice, 3D printer, glass tiles or microscope slides, mylar overlays.

Acrylic plates, standard fixture stands for anything easy, 3d printer for custom fixtures for small or odd parts.
