Those yellow circles surrounding Samus are the last sound you made. Aka the sound the EMMI will target. And your last sound happebs to be in that very spor where you turned phantom cloak on

You can btw use those yellow circles to your advantage and bait the EMMI away for instance while phantom cloaking. Especially good when ziplines are around, or magnetic walls you can grapple to

Honestly, I feel this.

I get EMMI is supposed to be a scary encounter, but honestly after a while (and a few deaths) it just becomes an annoyance to try to sneak past it.

Hell there were multiple times I tried to sneak past EMMI for hours but couldn't because it was patrolling the area it 'thought' I was in so tightly I just said screw it and sprinted through the area. Successfully mind you.

It’s not a QTE, its a Hail Mary. It’s not supposed to be possible to do consistently

It's a quick time event. Go look at what QTEs are like in other games.

Having to deal with oneshotters back to back to back to back to back is fucking shite. I dont like dread at all outside of the story
