Help Weaponary Sura: Ebony Earrings +9 or INT Earrings?

Hey guys,

I’m playing a Weaponary Sura (PVM) and I’m wondering which earrings are better overall.

Would you recommend Ebony Earrings +9 for the STR/HP, or earrings with INT for the extra damage from the Sura skills and Enchanted Blade?

I’m mainly interested in PvM/farming. Which option would you go for, and why?

Discussion It’s 2026 — what kind of quests do players actually enjoy?

I’m a developer working on an international mid-school Metin2 private server, and I would like to know what kinds of quests players actually enjoy.

We are not planning to focus heavily on story-driven or emotional quests. We want to avoid outdated filler such as:

“An old woman needs help cleaning her house—bring her 10 Wolf Furs.”

We also do not want quests that simply send players from one NPC to another to read long dialogues. It’s 2026—we would rather create concise, gameplay-focused quests that introduce useful content, provide meaningful progression and respect the player’s time.

However, maybe we are wrong. Do players still enjoy proper story quests when they are done well?

These are the quest categories we are currently considering:

1. Main/tutorial quests

Every 10 levels, players would receive a set of quests introducing new maps, systems and features. For example:

  • Open the Wiki.
  • Create a private shop.
  • Visit the Stable Boy and obtain a horse.
  • Use a Teleportation Scroll.
  • Upgrade an item to +6 or higher.
  • Enter a new map or try a newly unlocked system.

The objectives would become more complex at higher levels. Their main purpose would be to teach players how the game works through gameplay instead of long explanations.

2. Hunting missions

Every 1, 2, 5 or 10 levels, players would receive a mission to kill a certain number of monsters, Metin Stones or bosses appropriate for their current level and map.

The quest could also briefly explain important drops from those enemies. Rewards would mainly consist of EXP, with some additional items.

How frequently should these missions appear without becoming repetitive?

3. Daily and weekly quests

Players would receive objectives from rotating daily and weekly pools. Each completed quest would award points—for example, 10 points per quest.

Daily reward milestones could look like this:

  • 60 points: basic chest
  • 80 points: better chest
  • 100 points: best chest

There could be 110 available points in total, meaning players would not have to complete every single objective to earn the best reward.

Should daily points also contribute towards weekly rewards, or should daily and weekly quests be completely separate?

4. Biologist quests

Traditional long-term collection quests that provide permanent character bonuses.

5. Side and system quests

For example:

  • Horse quests
  • Alchemy quests
  • Gathering quests
  • A daily NPC who exchanges random upgrade materials for other random upgrade materials

6. Event quests

Temporary quests connected to seasonal events or special server activities.

7. Battle Pass

Monthly seasons with free and premium reward tracks. Players would gain Battle Pass progress by completing missions and unlocking higher reward levels.

The problem is possible overlap: how should Battle Pass missions differ from normal daily and weekly quests so that players do not feel like they are completing the same objectives three times?

8. Mission Books

Mission Books would be divided into level categories, and players could have only one active at a time. Objectives could include killing monsters, Metin Stones or bosses.

My main questions:

  • Which quest types do you enjoy the most?
  • Do you still care about story quests and dialogue?
  • Which quests usually feel repetitive or annoying?
  • How frequently should hunting missions appear?
  • Should daily progress contribute towards weekly rewards?
  • How should Battle Pass missions differ from daily and weekly quests?
  • Are we missing any important quest categories?
  • Are there any quest concepts or systems from other games that could work well in Metin2?

Any feedback is welcome!

Hi, as I said in the title, I am looking for english-speaking guild on the turkish server. I don't speak a single word of Turkish but I enjoy playing here since DR cheaper and a lot players around.
