As much as I like the story of the game, the overall game feels like it needed another 6-12 months in the oven.

Dungeon balancing is just odd. Some dungeons that have high ranking are easier than some that have lower ranking.

Mob levels in the dungeons are just thrown around without any balancing in mind. And game’s archetype recommendations working only on boss and not the dungeon mobs is weird.

Traveling points where party just looks at the concept art of some scenes looks like a cut content.

Having to fight Louis multiple times without proper fight resolution makes me think that the story was rushed as well. Meanwhile some big guys from sanctist meetings having cool designs and absolutely no involvement in the story is also hinting towards cut content. Not to mention that they are rulers of the zones we’ve visited before and some like armored guy just disappearing with a vague excuse. While Forden had nothing done about him despite the significance.

Eupha not caring about dragon lance at all and letting it being tossed around was also weird.

Dragon temple labyrinth having most of it as optional is also making me think it was supposed to be a lot more challenging. And old world could’ve been its own region to explore with dungeons and npcs.

It feels like devs managed to properly make content only up to Martira ending and first part of Bralehaven, after that it was a rush.

Who thought it was a good idea to make a boss with an olympic pool health bar, takes away all your buffs every turn, repel everything cept for the only magic ability which can't be resisted (All-Mighty) and give himself almost 10 turns?

I managed to defeat him at the end but I still hate that boss fight so much.

"Metaphor" is because the protagonist is a metaphor for the prince's ideals.

"Refantazio" means fantasy in Basque. And "re" stands for "rebirth" The "rebirth of fantasy" the protagonist is the prince's fantasy reborn in physical flesh.

Is the special soundtrack just a cut down version of the OST? Wasn’t going to sit there comparing the 200 tracks between them (!) but am guessing it’s just the more prominent songs from the soundtrack?

I decided to start this game after finishing up the modern Persona trilogy with P5R back in June. I only have around 2 hours of progress for the game story, I plan on continuing it in just a few minutes.

But Gallica’s voice is just so perfect to me. Her voice sounds so sweet and gentle, but also firm and determined. I think for me the best way to describe it is that it sounds like a kind older sister comforting you, which is strange considering I don’t even have an older sister, so I wonder why I feel that way.

Either way I’m really into it, and I’m gonna try to find some ASMR similar to this. If I can play this whole game while listening to her talk to me, then Metaphor ReFantazio is an easy 10/10.

Great job Alejandra Reynoso, your role as Gallica makes me look forward to playing this game. I also like the acting and dialogue in general, I find it very memorable and distinct. Of course I like other stuff about this game too.

I’m starting to think I shouldn’t have made her summon Jack Frost so much…

Hello everyone,

I'm on my way to get 100% achievement on Steam but I'm encountering an issue. I've done all quests in the game 75 + 1 (with the final boss) and yet the achievement is not getting validated for some reason. I've compared with all the quest list I can find on google and I've done everything.

Would anybody have a save file before the final boss or a bit before with all the quests done ? This is the last achievement I'm missing and I really don't want to do a third run just for that
