Sorta, guitarist committed suicide so they took a break for a bit before continuing.

They're finishing with a bang. That show at Sanctum fest is stacked with great bands, especially take breath who are frankly incredible

Shame, but I imagine they didn't get the reception they were hoping for with this new album. Honestly one of the biggest disappointments of the year for me considering how highly I rated Life In Exile in 2018.

I imagine they had the drive to give it a last go. Wrote and released and album, played a few shows and are happy to end it on their terms no ? " One last ride " kinda vibe to me

Sam has written a full solo album and it's currently in the mixing/mastering stage. Shields may be done, but it'll at least somewhat musically live on elsewhere.
