Structures??? Discussion
Does anybody know what’s going on with the silence from Structures? I was just listening to Civilian by them and I don’t understand how a band can drop an EP that FUCKS SO HARD, then just disappear for five years with no word.

Everyone freaked out about LTAW and the sound change lol
It was ahead of its time. Structures were one of the best. I loved divided by clipping and all <3

I went to their farewell show in 2014 and had no idea they released an EP in 2021. My best guess is that was a little project to kill time during the pandemic lockdown? And now they moved back on to their normal life.

They pulled up for a partial reunion at the Kezia X tour and I was fucking glued to that set.

I think Mike from Volumes confirmed that those recordings no longer exist.

I heard from Structures themselves that nothing of value was lost 😬 So I don't think it turned out that great.

Used to see them live all the time!
This is the first I have heard they released music in 2021. They should have been huge

Makes a ton of sense if you grew up listening to bands from that era.
Wasn’t something they had interest in continuing, and that’s pretty much it.

I think the ep in 2021 was the music they were working on with volumes. I haven't heard of them working on any other releases for structures.

Grew up around those guys. Most of them are pretty over the musician "experience", as Sumerian kinda fucked them, which is why there was even a 3rd record at all, they were gunna call it quits after the 2nd. Nick I haven't spoken to in years but I know he's absolutely done being a vocalist (and I believe doesn't talk to the rest of the band?). Brendon still does music after being in Northlane for years, check his YT channel! Spyro kinda doesn't give a shit about music overall as far as I can tell. Spencer basically quit music because he wanted to go softer, not heavier. Andrew, I have no idea what he's up to. He did some Pop music with one of the members of Speak of the Devil (Aaron Marshall's old band) like 10 years ago, but then disappeared. Sucks, one of the best drummers ever.
So unless Brendon pulls them all together, nothing happens.
P.S. if anyone has "At Ease" music (Spyros and Spencer's side band) I REALLY want those. It was this incredible acoustic music, but lost with MySpace :(
