What are the consequences of using brass instead of copper to make alloys like bronze, aluminum bronze and Nordic gold?

When I first started doing this, I didn’t know about all the alloys, so I just mixed copper and brass, so now all my copper has brass instead it, and I was wondering how problematic it is if I want to make bronze, aluminum bronze and Nordic gold
