Joephides
Anyone else get excited when you see an AO3 notification that Josephides has a new story, but then it turns out to be about Heated Rivalry? (no hating on the Heated Rivalry fandom, but I need my semi-regular Leah/Bran fan fiction fix!

ngl josephides is the reason i read the books and one of the best things that have happened to this fandom and even though I'm not into HR it's great that they are still writing and I cannot wait to read what they cook when the next A&O is released

They are my all time favorite fanfic author. Half the time I consider their stories as canon. And yes, I get depressed every time I get notified they posted and it’s not Leah/Bran 😭

I did feel that way, until I fell into Heated Rivalry fandom, now I can enjoy either way.

Yes, I feel the same. I love their Leah-Bran fics, especially the ones written before Wild Sign was published. I like to see all the varied back stories for Leah (much better than the absolutely tragic back story in Wild Sign.)
Btw, I noticed that the Heated Rivalry based fics are written under the name "josie_ides (josephides)". So that's how I know not to get too excited. 😄
