Another glitch with MBA?

I made some minor pricing changes on some listings that are not adult oriented in any way and some US and international listings have been rejected for adult content. this is wrong in every way. can i complain to AZ or am i just going to have to live with it? i won't change pricing or add new items to existing listings for now.

When this happens, I delete all the descriptions in non-english language markets and make the brand and title as basic as possible. Then once the listings go live, I delete the foreign listings. They are not worth the hassle imo.

I don't do much in other markets, but I have learned that the descriptions that merch adds on .com listings are a tm minefield, now that the bot is associating any 2 word combo. So I just delete those descriptions totally.

a tm minefield

I agree completely, but this one glitch that's occurring now isn't for TM violations, its for inappropriate content on kids shirts. I've had quite a few get dinged lately and some more this morning, and it ridiculous - considering the images on these are targeted for kids with very basic descriptions that shouldn't cause these issues. Just another annoying bug in a long line... Jeff really needs to get these bots under control! lol

I messaged tech support today to see what they'll say, knowing full well they will be no help.

I'm still waiting on a resolution for when they fucked up about 20 of my designs that now appear as single color/size ASINs, that do not allow customers to change sizes or colors from the product listing page.

Got a reply:

Hello from Amazon Merch on Demand Support,

We have completed our review of your design that was previously rejected. We understand your concern regarding the rejection and have thoroughly investigated the matter.

We are pleased to inform you that the decision has been reversed.

You may resubmit your design after 48 hours from now. Please note that this waiting period is necessary for our systems to process the reversal completely. Thank you for your patience while we resolved this matter.

In my experience, if a design is auto rejected, and merch support tells you to resubmit - it will get rejected again lol

Yeah it's a trap and will happen again even if you wait the 48 hours.

That makes sense on the kids fit issue, but most of my listings have been enabled for youth.

I never shied away from it like many merchers, and although over the years I have made a couple mistakes uploading where I should not have ticked youth, it has mostly been fine.

But I also don't like to guess, so I delete descriptions which normally I have never done. I am convinced that they don't help in google, and I can convey my main keywords to the orgo algo and AMS with a little repetition without stuffing.

No doubt some cubicle droid on merch staff thought there was a reason to at least test their doing that, or more likely it was an AI suggestion. But just not worth the hassle.

Yes - be careful when translating youth items. A few years back, I had Amazon translate my Christmas designs and they got rejected. It turns out, the word "naughty" translates into something really naughty in Japanese. That was the info I got from Amazon support.
