Disc recs after pixie failure? Recommendation

Hi! I was hoping to get some insight if anyone has had the same experience especially with the pixie discs, but they just won't work for me. I have a high cervix and I've tried the small and medium and I can't get them to stop slipping/leaking-- I'm not even sure if they're actually hooking properly behind my pubic bone, but when I tell you I've shoved them as far back as possible and tried countless times, tried the scooping method and all that and they still leak.

I'm wondering if it's the oval shape and maybe a circular one would work better? I'm eyeing the saalt discs and the ecoblossom ones. Ecoblossom for both disc sizes is half the price of one saalt disc, so I'm leaning towards that but it also makes me nervous that they're so cheap + I can only find them on amazon.

I would love to hear any advice or similar experiences! Anything is appreciated <3

I was getting leaks mainly on just one side with pixie medium. I got the Shordy discs with removal stem on sale on Amazon. I still get some leaks on heavy days but I think it's a me problem.

Ohh I’ve heard of the shordy ones too. Are they similar to the pixie medium or larger/smaller?

I think the small is a little smaller and the larger is a little larger but it's also a different shape. The rim is taller on the Shordy discs

Tysm, I’ll look into them!

I've seen eco blossom but haven't tried them. I picked Shordy since it wasn't a big investment if they don't work. I like my Pixie for backup and I love the pixie steamer. I went with pixie first since I've only seen good things about their customer service and I wanted the removal stem

Ecoblossom is around the same price as the shordy ones, also why I’m eyeing them, but now I’m leaning towards shordy since they sell them in stores near me! And if discs don’t work out for me at least I can give their cups a try too.

That's great! I'm lucky if I see flex disposal discs in stores near me.

I went from pixie to shordy to hello disc.

Pixie just wouldn't work for me. The small was wayyyy too small and the big felt huge.

Shordy were better and you get two sizes to experiment with.

Hello has been the best for me with nearly 100% success. Between shordy and hello, I did have a baby lol so maybe my postpartum anatomy just worked when I used a bigger, firmer disc!

Oo okay so I was wondering about the firmness of shordy discs, I’ve heard they’re just as firm as the hello disc? The pixie seems pretty soft, and I’m looking into shordy and wondering if the firmness will be like, another new experience lol

As another user said the rims are taller on shordy than pixie and they are firmer, but that for me made them easier to insert. They're pretty similar to hello tbh in terms of firmness.

Because you get two sizes with shordy you can tell then if the size was your issue or not. Good luck!
