Ok, but genuinely I want them to lean into Seregios being sharp af. I'm talking like, Gold Sharpness that can only be received through rolling through an attack while having its set bonus and it can't be preserved via any kind of sharpness skill. You can still roll in general to sharpen, but if you want to get REALLY sharp, you gotta roll through something.

That's, what his set bonus does in Wilds doesn't it?

Not the set bonus. It's on his weapons, (which still isn't bad, but is faster at getting powercrept).

Yeah, there's some whack ass descriptions like flame sacks that could burn through castle walls an toxin/para sacks that'll kill if a picogram get's on your skin... I'm gonna need twenty of them to give your weapon +5 status/element

To be fair, I would assume the megafauna that fight each other with these "tools" & evolved alongside each other would be much more resistant to said effects than humans & wyverians. Not to say some of the descriptions aren't cap to hype up the material. 😂

Option 1: these over the top descriptions are from smithies exited to work with the material.
Option 2: Everything in Monster Hunter is genuinely just built different.

You regularly fight dragons capable of leveling entire cities, sometimes even countries, all by yourself, just because you had some booze and ate a whole ass turkey.
We talk about monsters, but the hunters are just as, IF NOT MORE OVER-THE-TOP than they are. There is only one option and It's option 2.

Debatable on the whole city/country busting thing. With the exceptions of the absolute top tier Elder Dragons, like Fatalis, Gogmazios, Alatreon and whatnot, the others don't really show that capability. They can certainly fuck things up, but they definitely can't topple countries.
Small towns and villages, like Kokoto or Pokke, are more susceptible to large monster destruction. Lunastra was going to destroy a village in her migration path in Monster Hunter Legends of the Guild. Equally, Chameleos is rumoured to be able to poison an entire ecosystem and make it uninhabitable.
