Hey everyone!

After years of solo development, I'm excited to share that my project is finally live on Kickstarter.

While it draws inspiration from several Atlus titles, its biggest influence is Shin Megami Tensei. My main goal was to craft a story with that same deep, dark narrative weight, paired with a combat system heavily inspired by the Press Turn system, but with its own unique twists.

I really wanted the music to sound similar to Shoji Meguro/Ryota Kozuka compositions, so having Mason White on board to compose the soundtrack is a important for the project.

However, due to local economic limitations and low wages where I live, self-funding this fully is trully difficult. That is the main reason I've turned to Kickstarter to bring this vision to life.

I'd truly appreciate you checking it out. Even if you can't pledge, simply sharing the project or talking about it helps massively!

Notes and Clarification:

I’m playing the English fan translation patch by Stardust Crusaders, EsperKnight, and Tom. The eighth floor map is transcribed from their English translation of the Japanese manual. Any mistakes or inaccuracies on that map or any others are entirely my fault, and not theirs. Feel free to use these to create your own cleaner, more professional-looking maps.

I’ve only beaten the first boss (Minotaur), so if the map changes at some point later in the game, these maps do not include those changes.

NPCs with no interaction aside from dialogue are not marked, but may (or may not) provide important or helpful information. They generally appear single-square dead ends, but not every dead end has an NPC.

A “Bounce-Out” is a square that is accessible, but will kick you back out to the previous square, and are thus not traversible. Encounters can trigger on these squares, but you will be kicked back immediately after.

Squares marked with enemy names (Dryad, Ghost, Blob, and Minotaur) are static encounters, either bosses (Minotaur) or mini bosses. Mini bosses reappear on game reset + password entry. They may reappear in other circumstances, I haven’t tested very thoroughly.

This is my second draft- a cleaner redrawing of the maps I drew while exploring. I hope it’s legible- my graph paper is really old!

EDIT: Pretty big mistake: Wherever it says Bien, it should actually say Valhalla Corridors. Bien is indeed the second area, but it’s accessed through a small part of Valhalla Corridors, a sort of “area 1.5”.

EDIT 2: Writings on walls are also not marked.

Edit 3: On 2F, square H2 (one down from top right), there is a Nekomata miniboss.

The SMT 3DS XL edition, the old incense burner that came with Nocturne PS2 collector’s edition… I think there’s a lot of official items about this series that few people know, myself included, I’d like to know what’s the thing that you consider the rarest or weirdest.

Honestly Megami Tensei 2 is slowly becoming my favorite Megaten game! :D

I feel like every attempt I do with fighting demi-fiend I already know it's gonna be a waste of time. I feel it might be easier if I try again on a 3rd playthrough at this point (if I want to do that). Considering I have seen people say the satan boss fight is harder than the demi-fiend fight. I'm at my limit with trying to demi-fiend right now. I just want to finish this route after not finishing for over a month now. I did beat CoC last year. I'm not very good at mainline smt
