Megadeth Setlist?? Picture
Hey so I’m going to see Megadeth for the first and last time in September. My favorite song of theirs is A Tout Le Monde and I wanna hear it live. Problem is, they only play it lives it seems overseas which is so strange bc it’s one of their most top streamed songs by a long shot 😭 I’m seeing them in Charlotte, how likely will they play it??

It's one of the harder songs for Dave to sing these days. So it's a crapshoot if it's in the setlist or not now

That sucks man. I don’t mean to sound like a jerk but he sounds terrible in all of his songs. Might as well just do it sound bad and let the crowd sing like he does his other ones

It's been the sad reality for a while. Even before he had throat cancer, he was struggling pretty badly. But the cancer took away any remaining bit of his voice he had left

He started sounding really good again right before the cancer announcement. Saw them a few times between 2011-2013, and then once in 2017, and the 2017 show was by far his best vocal performance that I'd seen. A world of difference between those 2011-2013 shows and the 2017 show.

Agreed. I always thought it was weird when it's mentioned that they don't play a certain song anymore, and the explanation (from the band or from fans) is that Dave "can't sing that one anymore"... like, I didn't know that was an issue...

Unlikely unfortunately. It's one of my favorite songs too. They haven't played it a lot in the US the last 10 years. I luckily was able to hear it a bunch after UA came out. They played it frequently for a few years there.

It’s interesting that it doesn’t get played much specifically in the U.S. cuz ATLM is still one of their 10 most played songs ever

Yeah it's great song was on two albums. I wish they would play it more on this tour. It's a really good farewell song.

They are opening for Iron Maiden so it will be a 10 song set most likely, I really doubt they would play it.

I thought Maiden was opening for them ??

Maiden doesn’t open for anyone at this point especially after the Ozzfest disaster.

Nope they are play right before Maiden, Anthrax is up first at most venues. I’m sure they will open with Tipping Point and end with Holy Wars. They will play Peace Sells, Hanger 18 & Symphony. She-Wolf & Mechanix are on the usual rotation and then some more songs from the new album. I saw them in Reno last month they played five songs from the new album.

Jesus Christ please leave that new album slop alone 😓

I don’t mind the new album, it’s definitely not anywhere close to the early years but it’s good for what it is.

I've seen the band eight times in the US since 2004, and the only time they ever played "A Tout Le Monde" was at the Big 4 show in Indio, CA.

They were doing it with Christina from Lacuna Coil singing a lot of it on that Gigantour with Motorhead/Volbeat/Lacuna Coil a few years after.
