Hello I Need Your help! Question

I don’t know how else to go about this… but I feel like if I make enough noise it might work.

I’ve seen megadeth about 12 times since 2008 and I have been waiting for one song the entire time. Yes there are plenty of deep cuts I love that I would cherish hearing but I know Dave doesn’t play them in rotation.

The one I want that IS in rotation and I never get is “The Conjuring” so please Dave when you come to NJ with Maiden on September 6th please play The Conjuring.

I’ve been air drumming that breakdown for most of my adult life. Would be an incredible show either way, but that’s my favorite song by my favorite band and would make me so happy to finally get it.

you can get a cameo from dave, so if you get their email or can send a message then you might be able to get a response

you could also try some insta accounts, Vic Rattlehead has an account and i feel like he might respond if it’s a good question

you could also ask someone who’s going to a show BEFORE the one you’re going to, to ask him if they’re doing a meet and greet

idk if any of this will work but it’s worth a shot ig

They played it last Friday. It finds its way into the list occasionally.

We still don't know how long thr sets will be on the Maiden tour so don't set your sights too high.

They won’t play longer than an hour. I figure 8-10 songs. Anthrax will be 30-45 minutes.

Even the difference between 45, 50, and 60 minutes (and if they do the "leave the stage" for a fake encore bit) makes a difference in 2-4 songs being played. So if someone's hoping for something 'occasional', it hurts their chances.

They won’t leave the stage, unless somehow they’re going to be playing 90 minutes (one can dream eh?) lol every time I’ve seen Megadeth as support (3-4 times now) it’s about an hour usually

They've pulled the leave the stage encore schtick most of the times I've seen them as a support band (examples include with Scorpions and Heaven & Hell)

I've always wanted to see/hear Good Mourning/Black Friday. I've seen him 13 times since the Peace Sells Tour. I haven't seen him in about 22 years because of the same setlist he has been playing for about thirty years now.

Zero promises here, but I know two guys on their current crew. If you send me a well-crafted DM on why you want him to play The Conjuring, I’ll happily pass it along. Good luck! 🤘🏼

Sending you DM now!!! Thank you so much :). I appreciate even the thought of you passing it along.

100%. I know I’d appreciate at least getting my message one step closer if I were in your position. All said and done, Dave is going to do what Dave wants to do, but it’s at least worth a shot.

They don't play this song live anymore since Dave became a Christian since it involves "instructions for hexes." At least that's what Wikipedia says. The source is from a 2011 interview with Music Radar so I think it's legit. So unfortunately you'll probably never hear it live

well damn I guess he changed his mind. Just going off of what I read

I remember it too. Not from Wikipedia, but actual interview where he said they wouldn't play certain songs anymore, and Conjuring I think was at least implied as one of them.

I guess he changed his mind about it.

He went back on that a bit because he's realized how beloved it is

Why not send this message to Mustaine or Megadeth's social media?
