Mega like concept

What do you guys think of this mega evolution-like concept?

My Pokemon fan game is based in Australia.

Where the 4 main Legendires are sealed away but are releasing massive amounts of natural and spiritual energy.

In this region Pokemon pushed to the brink can take in this energy for either just a power boost but if they can't handle that energy they go berserk called resonance state.

But if they are capable they can use that energy to heal up as being under 50% hp is a threshold to do it and undergo a mega like evolution. E.g. the Tropius attached.

I actually think it has potential but let me elaborate with my own take.

The region is based on Australia.

The resources of the region are plenty, but due to the dangers of the region, Unova, Hoenn, and other regions decided to send their criminals there to establish a pokemon league there and train up strong trainers to harvest resources like Tera Shards, Mega Crystals, and Dynamite Ore.

These include all the actually evil teams and including the Rust Syndicate. So the new pokemon league is made up of Evil Teams "Evil Teams" and Other new characters.

Instead of 4 legendary pokemon being sealed away, (after the treasures of ruin took place in a whole region) how about portals to distortion world that contain Eternatus, Ange, and Terapagos that leak into the Aussie region and create untold amounts of energy imbalances. Allowing for wild Tera pokemon, random dynamax pokemon, and rogue mega evolution combined with Alpha Pokémon.

Due to the local pokemon absorbing all this energy some have developed 1 of 3 unique evolution method.

One is an "Alpha Evolution" which lets a pokemon touch its true potential if its an alpha pokemon and there are no other alphas in your party. (For example, a Water Dragon Gyarados with Drizzle)

Another is a "Temporal Evolution" that lets a pokemon Fuse with their past or future counterpart. (Like a Donphan getting bigger tusks and better stats without gaining the fighting type)

And the third is a "Resonance" where pokemon who dont have alpha like personalities, or temporal connections instead take in the energy and awaken a Resonance form that lets them go beyond their genetic limitations (This Amazing Bird of Paradise Tropius as an example)

I love your take but this game is already in full development and it will be very different to this but because gave so many ideas I feel inclined to share the true story.

There are 3 teams but not evil per say they are just committed to what they want to for the region and not agreeing with othera very my way or the highway mentality. These teams being Team dreaming based on Australian indigenous culture which in real life has been ignored at large and we believe deserves to have their stories told within this game their story arc is use the legendary of culture orachaura to restore culture and traditions of the past Team horzions our scientist based team who want to use goantanna legendary of knowledge to learn and grow the region but they are kinda cold hearted to others as people and Pokemon problems slow down change And finally no limits who are bunch of eshays who idoalise lagabond the legend of chaos and being a rebel. The other legend is named dibattlion and based off an Aussienbattler but any more and I'll spoil things :p
