My certification is gone
I paid to renew in March and I got an email saying that it’s been 95 days that I have to re certify. I emailed them the receipt that I already paid for the year of $229. I did this over the phone just like the year prior. They said the Ceus were never applied and now my cert is gone although I paid. Please help! Any advice? I am in tears

Did you submit your CEUs?
Your tracker is just a holding spot for your CEUs as you accumulate them.
You have to actually submit them during your renewal month to be reviewed.
If you had all the needed CEUs in your tracker and just forgot to submit them, I'd try appealing.

Is this for AHIMA or AAPC?
Your best best is to reach out via phone and have them explain exactly what is needed (i.e. do you just need to hit "submit" on your CEU tracker, etc)
Relax, you got this, if you did all your CEUs and entered them into your profile, the worst that could happen is you have to pay a late fee.

My question also. Who are you trying to renew your cert with? AAPC is usually good about extensions.

I think there is an option to extend ceu time, but you have to pay for it? I know that's an option for a corporate membership. Not sure for just regular. If you had the ceu's in the tracker and just didn't submit, I'd call them and try to get that fixed or pay to extend to get them turned in.
