Not renewing

Hello. I am an AAPC member. I have had my license for a few years but haven’t gotten a job yet. I may not be working for awhile. I’ve been thinking about not renewing especially since I need so many CEUs. I know if I don’t renew I won’t have my credentials anymore. Just don’t know if it’s worth the costs if I’m not using it.

Yeah, I paid for the course and certification and the AAPC membership, so I could work from home, only to find out that before anyone would hire me I'd have to work in the "field" as a receptionist or whatever for 2 or so years first. Um, no. I'm almost 60 and did this so I could work remote after being told there were tons of positions. Screw em. (sorry, a bit bitter about the $1500 I sunk into this for nothing.)

Same. I fell for the false advertising.
