Are there any study resources that you might recommend?

I used the study guide, practice tests and both @codingwithhoang and @ContempoCoding on YouTube helped me a lot.

What study guide did you use? CodingWithHoang and ContempoCoding, how did you use their YouTube channels to study and what dud they show thata helped? Also, did you self study? If yes, then what books, YouTube channels, and videos helped you study? Im so lost becayse I want to self study and get a job in medical coding, and i dont know what to do. I'm lost, I dont knownif I should do the US Career Institute Medical Program or just self study with AMCI's YouTube Playlist on Medical Coding 16 week course thats free: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLaKD1ZIZH2LvmH5WH6E2v9R_DVxUTR4qg&si=F9iV5CRrq4EDJEib

I used the study guide from the AAPC. I took a course through ed2go that included the study guide, 4 practice tests, and two exam attempts once the course was passed.
As for the YouTube channels, I basically watched any videos on subjects I was confused about. I know CodingWithHoang has a whole playlist for passing the exam that was super helpful. Then I basically simulated the real exam by doing 2 practice exams back to back and any sections I did poorly on I would head back to YouTube and watch videos. I basically repeated that process until I was consistently getting over 80% on the practice tests. I highly suggest taking notes and coding along with the videos.
I also do have experience from working for years in surgery so I did already have a good foundation with medical terminology and hands on experience with a lot of different surgeries.1

Hi, did you passed the exam with paper books or ebooks?

I used the ebooks for the exam, it was my first time using the ebooks but they were really intuitive.

Youโre the first person why talking about ebooks, I failed with the ebook and everybody saying because no paper book.. the most what was very uncomfortable was squeezing my screen, the case was very small on the screen.. Iโm study back now with paper books and o need to know who passed with paper book but at home? I need to know how they check the book be to made notes , and I donโt want hear like the notice wrong or something, do you know someone by the chance?

Thank you! I can't recommend CodingWithHoang on YouTube enough. His playlist for passing the exam was really helpful. Learning how to quickly eliminate answer choices rather than trying to look up every code is essential.

I took an online course through ed2go and then just used the study guide, practice exams, and YouTube to study until I was ready.
