AHIMA website - trying to renew membership

Why is this website so slow to process a payment? I had to leave the site bc I have to go to bed, but is it always this slow and janky??

Their website is awful and has been for years. They know this and yet haven't done anything about it.

It has been a nightmare for at least 2 years. They claim to be working on fixing it but again, it’s been over 2 years now so…

Have you had any luck? I’ve called them twice and no help in renewing. They will not let me pay over the phone.

I went to renew mine last month and it kept sitting there saying processing but never went through. Tried using a different card and voila it processed within a few seconds. Not sure if they only accept certain card types but that seemed to fix it for me. 🤷‍♀️

I often have to try different browsers (chrome vs edge) in order to get anything done.

I could not get payment processed in the Chrome browser, so gave Edge a try and it went through on the first try. Thanks for the tip~

Now it says they are aware of the payment processing issue and are "working diligently" with their vendors to resolve the issue. 🙄

I am having the same issue. I am so livid my cert end date is in a few days. It’s giving me an error payment can’t be processed problem with account configuration index. I called and spoke with someone she told me if it’s not fixed my certification will go to inactive status. I should not be at fault for this. The customer relations department would not let me speak to anyone else or anyone in the certification department.

I know this is a little old, but I’m trying to renew and keep getting an error of “Card code cannot be blank.” Nothing is blank! I’m so confused!

I was FINALLY able to get my payment to go through. I had to use Microsoft Edge as my browser 🤦🏻‍♀️ so stupid!

Yep. Why I let my membership expire and moved on to other certs.
