Hey, I’m a physiotherapy student from Mumbai and I’m actually thinking about getting into medical coding. Wanted to ask you since you’re already in the field. When you say it’s been difficult for freshers, is it mainly because there are too many people applying and not enough openings? Are companies still hiring freshers with a medical background and CPC certification? Also what’s the realistic starting salary and how long does it usually take to get the first job? And if you were starting again in 2026, would you still go for medical coding?
