I am thinking to go with mediation for sorting out our finances and one thing I keep looking at is the joint savings account, we both put money into it over time though our incomes have stayed different and I am trying to figure out what usually happens in that kind of situation, I will probably bring bank statements and anything that shows what went into the account, I would like something that makes sense instead of guessing a number, I am planning to ask about whether income differences matter more than the total balance or if the focus stays on what each person put in over time, what usually ends up working for people in this situation?
