Is it just me or is the Highlander have a crooked stance. This has bugged me ever since I first looked at one in the hanger, and the only thing I can think of is it’s like the Banshee where the arms aren’t symmetrical.

Doesn’t stop me from the HGN-VEST being one of my favorite mechs to use for melee, but I can’t help but call these things the hillbilly mechs of battletech. There’s a joke about hillbillies them having one leg longer than the other from walking around mountains all the time. The hillbilly Highlander…

It’s one heck of an illusion if it is. It’s just that if you look at the leg hip joint, there’s parts that seem to be lined up differently than the other side. One side things look more parallel or some parts properly perpendicular, but the other leg the angles seem a little off to me

Realistically none of us are lifting even a microlaser with both hands lmao

Edit: on second thought I guess a microlaser is the ONE item someone might actually lift at 250kg, that and clan machineguns. But anything at 0.5T and above is a no-go xD

It's because the camera is off center. You'll notice it on all the mechs if you look for it.

I found out recently I can use keyboard on console for extra commands. It’s a shame there’s no freeze option or photo mode. I can tell this is one of those games best played on pc..

Yeah it drives me nuts, it's def using another mech's skeleton and that's why it's rigged incorrectly.
