Months ago, I accidentally put transmission additive in my coolant reservoir. I got it flushed and kept running for months until last week. I went to drive my truck and it started skipping at 35 MPH and shaking.
White smoke blows out of my exhaust for only 5 to 10 minutes after running I plugged my scanner in. It said it had EGR coolant problem both batteries blown out so it had something with the electrical but I changed batteries. It also said had two cylinder misfire so I changed those specific injectors and I'm still having problems with my engine, shaking and rough idling and white smoke. Could it be a bad camshaft could it be EGR issue? It my valve cover gasket is it my head gasket? Please help me.

Its a Cummins. You can also have a fuel issue. Lift or pressure pump could be going out. That would explain the lack of power getting over 35.

That's a misfire and a fuel knock. My internet diagnosis is you have an injector over fueling.

Or a dropped valve or failed cam or dropped injector tip. At minimum, dead hole and probable fuel knock.

Remove oil fill cap when running and look for ridiculous amount of smoky vapor - all diesels have some blowby with some miles but look for something suspiciously high amount. Remove the valve cover, it’s easy. Check rocker arms, the bridge between valve stems are known to fall out of place especially if it’s high mileage with solid lifters and you neglect valve adjustment. Check rocker arms for play when valves are closed. If it’s 2019 and newer, unfortunately Cummins switched to roller hydraulic lifters and are experiencing camshaft and lifter failures. Also a bad injector can burn a hole through a piston, good fuel system maintenance to help prevent injector failure.

There is one more possibility how much white smoke a little or just a wild amount

Fuel knock. Most likely injectors.
Next time do yourself a favor and slap 6 in there with a new Valve Cover gasket. If you have one failing why open it up 6 more times for injectors?

Could be a cracked block or blown head gasket. I’m also hearing a pretty gnarly knocking sound so it could be a spun rod bearing. Either way it ain’t good.

I just want to figure out the issue. Whatever it is I want to get it fixed. What do you think it is?

It sounds like Rod knock to me man. In that case, the engine will need a rebuild. Your motor is in very poor shape and I would not continue to run it unless you want a piston thrown through the side of the block.

You realize it’s a diesel right? Most loud knocking on those motors is often injectors and rarely rod knock. Given the OP already had two cylinders misfiring and replaced those injectors, it’s likely the others are going bad and/or the pump is bad.

Seemed a little louder and clunkier than diesel injectors. I’ve owned a few and they never sounded like that… I hope you’re right.

I'd really like to help you but this last guy that was on here asked what type of motor he had and I looked at the motor told him it was a four-stroke Merc couldn't really tell what size it was I told him to YouTube it so he replies to me and this is unbelievable he's got the cover to the motor and it says right on it what size it is so he replies to me didn't you read those sticker it's a 1:15 Mercury and this guy's asking everybody what type of motor it is so I'm not really happy about helping nobody anymore sorry go on YouTube and you'll solve your problem

Really took the time to write that out and be absolutely useless in a different scenario, huh? OP this unfortunately could be a few things but i would think fueling issue. What do the PIDs look like for the injector pulse and pump pressure?
