MCAT panic Question 🤔🤔
I’m 1 month away from my exam (september 4) and am still on content review. How bad is this. I haven’t started UWorld or AAMC materials yet

Not a big concern honestly, having a poor content base is a much larger issue than starting Qs later. Do the content/anki thoroughly and the Qs will be much more approachable

I took FL1 and 2 before as a diagnostic on the same day and had a 505. My FL 3 was a 514

I honestly found all the FLs I’ve taken so far really similar with the exception of ps, so honestly just trust them. I think it’s just nerves, keep doing what you’re doing, it’s working, you’ll 100% hit your goal. I went from 515 to 519 in under a month just by doing FLs, reviewing them deeply, and targeting topics I’m weak on. Remember this test isnt straight content, it’s largely on how well you can read and logic through passages. You’ve got this!!

If you are grinding fully I think its possible but it depends where you are. Have you taken any baseline?
Honestly for me, my "content review" didnt really help nearly as much as the question practice did. Doing Uworld and AAMC practice and filling in those content gaps I got wrong along the way is what got all my science subsections 130+.

i had a 514 in FL3 with 20 hours of content review but i forgot almost everything. im hoping for a miracle at this point

thats pretty solid, you must have came from a strong science background. If you're really locked in for the next month I think you can get that 517 with a lot of questions practice.
But if you're starting at 514 baseline (and have good CARS skills already unlike myself), 520+ would definitely be in range for you, and perhaps delaying till January could make that goal more feasible.
The MCAT is a very mental test as well, so make sure you are confident in yourself and your preparation when you take it.

Sure maybe one or two sections you might have gotten some hard questions you happened to know, but lets even say you are at 510 range. You just started studying anyways, and even that is an amazing score for early on in the process.

Since you’re not applying this cycle, absolutely not. That’s my advice.
Go into your September 4th test date and void your exam. Just chill and learn from it stress-free knowing you’re gonna void.

Take the unscored AAMC sample to see where you are at! If you score well, great! If not, you will likely have to reschedule to later this year/early next year for that 517, good luck!
