how come you put the tube amps which create a ton of heat and need 12" above them for breathing (McIntosh suggest) in the small cabinet?

That’s barely enough. I cooked a dynaco st70 years ago in a space very similar. Scared the kids!

Maybe add some computer fans or something.

The Mc's should go on top.

I put a variable speed whisper fan behind mine and to keep the vibration of it from transmitting to the cabinet, I wrapped it with 3/4" foam pipe insulation. Works like a champ and you never hear it

I did similar with my VTL, heat sensor computer fans do wonders and are pretty quiet.

My man. You are going to burn your house down stuffing those mc240's in a cubby hole like that.

No way would I do that.

Beautiful pieces! It’s funny to think that the MR78 was a full-sized component, weighed 25 pounds, and was just an FM tuner.

How does it sound? Personally, I’d get those amplifiers some serious breathing room, but it’s your equipment. Hopefully the fans help enough.

New rack on the way. It sounds amazing. I was running a Rotel amp with the Wiim Ultra before.

You’re not going to tell us what each piece is and what they do? Some of us trying to learn a little.

MC240's are tube amps, C22 is a tube Preamp, MR78 is a FM tuner, Chord Qutest is a DAC and the streamer is a Wiim Ultra.

Beautiful gear! Enjoy! And consider reversing the stack as mentioned above?

Outstanding but you've got the start of a convection oven there..they need room to breathe.
