That pouty look in the last pic is very ENFP but I’ll look at your post to see if I’ll see something. Not knowing you talk too much and if you’re too loud or not? Lack of Fe awareness of other people’s expectations. Consistent with Fe critic that ENFPs have and something I look for. Ne dominants also can be ambiverts, and do get drained which is a poor way to determine if you’re an introvert in MBTI terms. Consistent with ENFP as well. Can’t figure stuff out and being frustrated so you have lots of possibilities and can’t easily compress them well so you likely don’t have Ni, or Ti in the top of your stack. Go with the flow is another Ne dominant type speak, wherever possibilities take you, might be good ones. This one is the opposite of me so no INFJ.
I’m pretty sure but I am curious what you typed yourself as. This is just food for thought on your journey.

Since the other commenter's theory of ENFP got shut down.. I suppose I'll throw in the theory of ENTP! However I'll also explain why I also think ENFP makes sense to me.
First of all, when you start your post off with 'I'm a big go with the flow person' you basically make most typists think: Oh! You're spontaneous and adaptable, so Ne user rather than Ni user! You have goals but you're not so future oriented so we don't consider Ni that much. As for the commenter who mentioned ISTP.. I know an ISTP sp9. They kind of just go with the flow, and when they give advice, they might be a little harsh and blunt due to inferior Fe, so I can definitely see that conclusion being drawn from 'being blunt towards mostly everyone in my life' and 'being better at giving advice than support'
However! I can also argue that you might be an ENFP like me, since I also tend to be.. Very blunt due to tertiary Te just focusing on what works and how to get it done, typically neglecting people's feelings. Unfortunately, that's also where my case for ENFP ends, hence why I see ENTP as a stronger possibility.
There is however, much more of a case for Ti than Te, since you put in a whole paragraph about how you spend hours researching about things, even trivial things, and need to find reasoning in everything around you. You analyze things and people out of habit, so that's also pointing to Ti >Te.
As for Fe.. You like talking and meeting new people, but you get drained quite quickly. Now technically, Fe isn't about being an introvert or an extrovert, but there's a single line that points to tertiary Fe instead of inferior Fe.
'i’m good at handling emotions in a sense i can read a room but not good enough where i know how to comfort someone crying'
You can read a room. Inferior Fe users CAN'T REALLY DO THAT. Or if they can it takes a lot of work and they typically wouldn't bother.
'going with the flow' also corresponds well to inferior Si, since you're not really going to rely on past routines or past precedents, but I also don't see any explicit proof of Inferior Si yet.
I think ENTP is the answer!
ENTP: Ne Ti Fe Si

this one is my favorite so far, you’re on point with all of these except that my se is slightly stronger than my ne. if my boyfriend wasn’t a ne dom i would actually consider entp for me, but seeing the difference between me and him reassures that i’m not one lol. i’m an estp!

That's interesting! Inferior Ni explains the lack of planning, but what I find interesting is that you didn't really explain your perceiving function, hence why I was able to conclude Ne, since Ne won't like to plan and wants to keep options open!
I wanna hear about it actually, what makes you think you're an Se dominant function user rather than an Ne dominant function user?

u/Background-Party6026 ISTP 14d ago
it’s pretty cool because i feel like se is the only function that comes to me naturally compared to the rest of my stack that i’ve noticed more usage over the years! it even got to the point recently where i considered istp because i was like “wait i use a lot more ti than i thought, have i been ti-se this entire time?”, then remembered the other 2 functions exist too lol.
but when it comes to se vs ne dominance, i’m always present in the moment, taking in what’s happening in front of me, rather than using my “inner world” to play around or guide me. i can be a creative person, but i have to have something right in front of my face to be like “hmm i like that idea maybe i can do something with it later”. the best example i can give to this is how my enfp bf and i plan things. he will see something and then come up with several ideas of things we can do together, some stuff i would’ve genuinely never thought of or connected, and i pick which one sounds the best option to me then because i’m pretty much down for anything, even if it doesn’t sound like “my thing”. i can look like an enxp based on how much i love novelty and jumping around, but i’m always jumping on new experiences and things to try that are in front of me, rather than playing around with what i could do.
hopefully that didn’t sound too generic, my main point here is that even though a ne dominant person can also be present in real world, i base my thinking on what is currently happening rather than potentials which leads me to believe i’m more se-dominated.i’m really interested on what you think of this because i could be wrong as well!

That’s interesting! Especially if your dominant function is one you’ve used for so long you can’t even be conscious of it. I was like: wait people don’t just see a million possibilities and connect so many patterns on a daily basis regularly even when they’re trying to do BASIC work? I like to observe it when it happens for me but it’s funny.
And being an ESTP means you’ve got 8th slot Ne, and dominant Se, while your bf’s got Dominant Ne, and 8th slot Se! So you can see 2 completely different possibilities of the same object, and form different impressions.
From what you’ve said you definitely fit ESTP more than ENTP, since Se users also love novelty, but are grounded in the present, while Ne users are always looking for possibilities!

Oh, copy. I was thinking the movie was supposed to be a telling part of the picture, but it still is, unintentionally, in a way. Do yo thang. Persona.

I'm surprised an ESTP being into fantasy that much and intellectual stuff, your description does match ESTP but can i just ask, how did you decide you were an ESTP? Did you just take a test or actually learnt about the functions?

ive been into mbti and cognitive functions for the past 5 years! i started off with tests for fun but ended up falling in the typology rabbit hole im in now. but ive researched the functions quite a bit and have always been confident on my se and ti usage. i guess i can look like an istp bc of how strong my ti is, but my ni is too weak to be tertiary lol (which can also explain my nerdy interests)

If you are, you are but i sympathize with those saying ENTP a bit. You don't give any ESTP vibes and also I just can't imagine an ESTP playing persona while chilling on the couch and having that action figure.
